~ A Working winter day...........

It's snowing again this afternoon and the wind has picked up. A light, fluffy snow. This morning we hauled 11 ton of round bales for the cows and we were fortunate to have sunny weather and 35 degrees. That should hold those hayburners for a month or so :) It's such a sense of security seeing all that hay stacked up. There is plenty more where that came from. Before we know it we will have green grass again :)

The birds were busy at the feeders and also on the bird tree. We have an abundance of bluejays! They have been eating the home made baked ornaments and running all the little birds off. The woodpeckers pay them no mind and love the suet blocks and the peanuts. I just love watching the birds.

~Have a warm and comfy evening ~

Yes, we're tucked in on a cold and snowy evening. I just love the tree for the birds.

I am loving your bird feeder tree. Wow! Look at all that snow! Spring can't come too soon for me and I don't even have all the snow.

The birds still haven't found our bird feeders. I guess because it is warm here they have plenty of wild food. I love seeing birds at the feeder so I hope they come sometime.

You homemade bird ornaments..baked? Have you shared the recipe and I missed it? Looks like you have enough snow too! :)

Oh we have had the snow too! They were calling for more tomorrow, but, I think it is going South of us, at least I hope so.

I also love to feed the birds (you knew that), but I love your bird tree with the ornaments.

We got two new wee birdfeeders for Christmas, but until now I've only seen a big fat squirrel on them! Anyhow, love your snow pictures. :)

Ilove that you are an animal caretaker too. I feel that way because I am too. I love the shot in your header.

linda,
thanks - we enjoy watching the birds.

joanna,
thank you - the birds seem to enjoy the tree.

egghead,
as much as I enjoy winter, I always look forward to spring and the first spring flowers!

christy,
don't lose hope - the birds will find your feeders. It took them awhile when we moved here but they found them eventually.

far side of fifty,
yes - the ornaments are baked. I didn't post the recipe but I'll be happy to share it in a post. We think we have enough snow but Mother nature does not - more coming in tonight!

candy,
thank you - I enjoy reading about the birds on your blog :)

tina,
Thanks so much for visiting and leaving a comment :) I had a big fat squirrel this morning - the bluejoys weren't very happy with him as he was eating from their favorite feeder. He wasn't bothered by them at all :)

andrea,
I'm so happy you stopped by :) I'm glad you enjoyed the photos. I love to share them with everyone.
Danny dog is a good fellow - we sure love him!
Please stop in again.

yolanda,
Thank you :) I love the role of caretaker for the animals. It's very important and satisfying to me :) Thank you for stopping in and leaving such a nice comment :) Hope you visit again.
