Not so noticeable :)
The acuifer was a gift for sure...one we didn't realize we had until AFTER we bought the property. We are certainly greatful.

nita,
Thanks! I also love to read about how other's do things in different parts of the country.
My eye color is fading finally - people are finally not commenting so often. I'm thankful for that :)
I used to really like Rascal Flatts = I thought they sounded better with the Orchestra as well. It was a great show for me because like you, I didn't have to leave my house. You couldn't have paid me to join a crowd to watch fireworks.

Nancy,
It is work but it's definately worth it and your right, we are very lucky! I added rainbarrels this year. One for each garden and have been using them to water. They work great. I have an irrigation system that I'm not using this year because I have the rain barrels. Good luck!

Thank you all for reading and commenting!Debhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14353371999780496358noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-211012004316276379.post-64412619550624275982008-07-07T09:51:00.000-04:002008-07-07T09:51:00.000-04:00That looks like a lot of WORK! But you are right ...That looks like a lot of WORK! But you are right ~ you're lucky to live on your own private water supply. Good for you for being thoughtful about preserving it!

I'm checking into getting a couple of "rain barrels" to catch the rain to use for watering my plants...Nancy K.https://www.blogger.com/profile/06061265740359266798noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-211012004316276379.post-85984929587071015152008-07-06T13:11:00.000-04:002008-07-06T13:11:00.000-04:00Great post! Thanks for sharing your ingenuity with us.

Your garden looks great, and I hope your soreness starts to subside.

We watched the Boston Pops too - we had went to see Rascal Flatts recently in concert. I enjoyed their singing much better with the orchestra! Coupled with the fireworks it was a great show and much nicer than having to drive somewhere and battle the crowds.Throwback at Trapper Creekhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12418370592659531735noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-211012004316276379.post-89613233190711923062008-07-06T10:06:00.000-04:002008-07-06T10:06:00.000-04:00So sorry to hear how much trouble you had with you...So sorry to hear how much trouble you had with your injury. I hope it heals completely soon.
