Ch...Sue,
Thanks - you have a great weekend also!

Christy -
Thank you :) Glad you have enough hay for the year......I think it's going to be a hard year for people all over this country unfortunately.

Adkins Family farm,
You are absolutely right! I love putting in wood in April for October - one less thing to worry about. That's security!
We were concerned about hay but had more than one source available and could have gotten a load out of Canada although it would have been more expensive and I really like to support my neighbors better :)

Threecollie,
Hope you have good weather for your time away at camp and no more breakdowns on the farm!

Joanna,
Your absolutely right about that. Hope you have enough hay for yourselves for the winter.
We probably won't have any animals in the petting zoo tomorrow as it's raining and supposed to rain all day tomorrow. I'll post a photo of the set up without animals and hope next weekend it's dry and I can get you some good photos.

Callie,
Thanks - is the fire danger high where you are? Do you have to worry about that for many months this time of year?

Linda,
I love to hay as well although I don't get into the fields very often anymore.
Please post photos when you all are haying - and harvesting your corn!Debhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14353371999780496358noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-211012004316276379.post-17612381716998030222009-07-17T17:02:51.868-04:002009-07-17T17:02:51.868-04:00That is so exciting! It doesn't matter if it's hay or canning up the garden. I have always loved that feeling of security and accomplishment. I'm really glad you're getting your hay up. I was really concerned about all the rain you were getting last month.Adkins Family farmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06855165585753157031noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-211012004316276379.post-30690085843738458412009-07-17T10:43:24.358-04:002009-07-17T10:43:24.358-04:00Cute kittens. It has been to dry and the grass hasn't grown since the first cut.
