I guess the good thing is he doesn't have to miss lots of school, but being so sick isn't good either.

I'm glad he is doing better and I hope none of the rest of you come down sick. Like Candy, my daughter was warned to be very watchful for secondary infections. Apparently some kids seem to recover and then it flares back up, worse than ever, a week or so later! My Grandson's doctor warned that that was the real danger.

I'll keep you all in my prayers.Nancy K.https://www.blogger.com/profile/06061265740359266798noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-211012004316276379.post-54024403297653138792009-11-20T23:23:18.044-05:002009-11-20T23:23:18.044-05:00I hope he is better soon and that you guys don'...I hope he is better soon and that you guys don't get it. We made him stay in his room, wear a mask if he went out anywhere (doctors etc) and tried to keep our distance as much as possible, although that's hard with a sick child. Lots of disinfecting the house, and most of all handwashing! Its been a week since his fever broke and no-one else is sick so we did something right.

Keep up the round the clock tylenol for the fever. Make sure he is hydrated (popsicles are very good and something like pedialytes with an electrolyte are essential if he gets sick), and stop the cold cloths. That actually causes shivering which increases body temperature.Shulahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04357891034163165341noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-211012004316276379.post-57299294558710863612009-11-20T16:19:49.767-05:002009-11-20T16:19:49.767-05:00We have had it in our house, my 2 grand kids had i...We have had it in our house, my 2 grand kids had it.
